The issue of Indigenous Peoples living in encampments brought up in the House of Commons

Earlier this week federal housing advocate Marie-Josée Houle released a report on tent encampments across Canada. Houle pointed out on Nation to Nation that a staggering number of Indigenous Peoples are living in the encampments. The NDP’s Indigenous Affairs critic Lori Idlout brought the issue to the House of Commons on Friday during question period.
