Candidate hopes to become new president of the Métis Nation of Alberta

Elections are now underway in Alberta for leadership of the Métis Nation of Alberta. After 27 years as president, Audrey Poitras is retiring. APTN’s Chris Stewart spoke to Andrea Sandmaier, a candidate hoping to become the next president.
