The federal government has said that its endorsement of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples shows its support for the rights of Canada’s Aboriginal people.
But a quick glance across the country shows those rights are often being ignored.
Among the most basic human needs is access to clean water, yet thousands of First Nations people remain without safe or running water.
In Manitoba, several communities are demanding change.
