Traditional Mi’kmaw birch bark canoe travels Nova Scotia ahead of NAIG

Mi’kmaw communities in Nova Scotia are celebrating the upcoming North American Indigenous Games. A canoe relay is making stops in Mi’kmaw nations throughout Nova Scotia before the games begin in July – the first time the event has been held Mi'kma'ki.
