Saskatchewan RCMP say two missing children have been found safe.
An Amber Alert had been issued for the seven-year-old old girl and eight-year-old boy, who were last seen Thursday night in North Battleford with their mother.
Mounties say the children were located at a home on the nearby Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation.
They say the mother is in custody.
Saskatchewan RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for two missing children who are believed to be with their mother.
Mounties say they are looking for Alexis and Kingsley Rosette, who were last seen Wednesday night in North Battleford with their mother, Amber Rosette.
RCMP say they are investigating the case as an abduction and are looking for the girl and boy to confirm their well-being.
Alexis, who is seven years old, is described as four-feet-five-inches tall with a slim build, brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She walks with an uneven gait and was last seen
wearing a grey T-shirt, black pants and a black sweater.
Kingsley, who is eight, is slightly taller than his sister, with a heavy build, medium-length black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing shorts and a black T-shirt with the word “Belgium” and possibly a flag graphic.
Amber Rosette, 31, is five-feet-three-inches tall, 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
RCMP say it’s unknown if the mother has access to a vehicle.
Officers have been conducting searches, interviewing witnesses and people known to the mother and children.
Mounties are asking people to call 911 immediately or 1-877-SOAMBER (762-6237) if they have information or see the mother and the children.
North Battleford is 395 km northwest of Regina.
