Mi’kmaw forestry agreement negotiations underway

Negotiations are underway between the Mi’kmaw and the Nova Scotia and Canadian governments for a long-term forestry agreement. It follows the conclusion of a pilot project where Nova Scotia granted 30,000 hectares of Crown forest for the Mi’kmaw to use.
