Gitxaala Nation takes on B.C. over granting mines without consent

A small First Nation is taking on the B.C. government over what they are calling a colonial practice of granting mines access without consent. With the click of a mouse and $25, anyone can buy a hectare of land at $1.75 per hectare for mining purposes.
