James Smith Cree Nation and Indigenous run police services

Leadership spoke out last week on the James Smith Cree Nation about the need for more First Nations-run police services. Rick Ruddell who is a professor at the University of Regina and Law Foundation of Saskatchewan Chair in Police Studies says Indigenous-run police services are vital - but there has been little movement in the last few years to create more.
