Cowessess First Nation officially takes jurisdiction of child welfare in the community

Cowessess First Nation Chief Cadmus Delorme was joined by the Prime Minister and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe to make the Miyo Pimatisowin Act official. The act transfers jurisdiction over child welfare to Cowessess to keep children connected to their community.
