What to expect from the AFN National Chief Election

The Assembly of First Nations National Chief election is taking place this week. Seven candidates are running - and with national attention focused on unmarked graves at former residential schools, the winner will have confront the past and work towards the future. Bruce Spence, a producer at APTN, has covered the AFN and National Indian Brotherhood events since the late 1970s. He shares his expectations for the election and explains what challenges the new national chief will face.
