RCMP start to enforce injunction to remove protesters from B.C. logging site

Monday morning on Vancouver Island, RCMP have started enforcing an injunction to remove protesters from a logging site. The injunction was granted last month by the B.C. Supreme Court to give logging company Teal Jones access to the Fairy Creek area. The Rainforest Flying Squad, an environmental group, set up blockades in the area last summer to protect old growth trees. Kati George-Jim, niece of Pacheedaht Elder William Jones, says the RCMP coming raises questions about the right to protest.
