Seventy-two per cent First Nations people polled in Manitoba said they experienced racist treatment first-hand when accessing care - while 80 per cent have witnessed it happen to a loved ones.
That’s according to a new survey by the Southern Chiefs' Organization, which suggests a pattern of discrimination, neglect and even abuse.
