Sipekne’katik First Nation taking Nova Scotia to court over fishing rights

Sipekne'katik First Nation has filed an action against the government of Nova Scotia, challenging a regulation that states fish sold in the province must be registered under a federal commercial licence. The claim says this ignores rights upheld by the Supreme Court of Canada.
