A Tribe Called Red was recently in Montreal to play a show as part of pop festival in the city.
The trio has taken the urban dance scene by storm with what they call pow wow step, their unique blend of dub step with First Nation chanting and drumming.
They also took some time to teach a master class in music and video for fans at McGill University.
Among the many topics discussed was the way they used video mixing to subvert Native American stereotypes.
