More than 500,000 participants sign-up for virtual Orange Shirt Day event

The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) hosted a virtual event for this year’s Orange Shirt Day. More than 500,000 students, teachers, and members of the public signed up to participate in the online event Every Child Matters: Reconciliation Through Education. Ry Moran, Director of the NCTR, joined APTN to discuss the importance of this event.
