“Baker Twins” oppose pipeline

Hearings for Enbridge’s Northern Gateway pipeline are taking place in Edmonton this week.

Several First Nations along the proposed route are opposed to the $5.5 billion project that would see a pipeline carrying bitumen from Edmonton to Kitimat, B.C.

Actors and models “The Baker Twins” are also opposed to the project and they come from a First Nation in northern B.C.

They spoke to APTN National News from Los Angeles.
