Newfoundland and Labrador ferry service taking steps to slow COVID-19

A passenger ferry service that runs between Newfoundland and Labrador is now taking precautions to try and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

A couple of days ago, social media was buzzing after videos and images appeared where travellers who had just returned from out of province were outed for not self-isolating.

Labrador Marine Inc. reacted as well.

Ferries will now have fewer passengers and people must declare if they have travelled outside the province.

As of this posting, 67 people have tested positive in Newfoundland and Labrador.
