A new documentary series on APTN follows a medium who says he can help with that.
Spirit Talker premiers on Wednesday Feb. 19.
It follows medium Shawn Leonard as he travels across Atlantic Canada helping people connect with loved ones who have passed on while reconnecting to his culture and family roots.
Leonard is a Mi’kmaw Spirit Talker based in Nova Scotia who has used his psychic abilities to help people across North America.
“In our Indigenous cultures, all of our ceremonies, whether they’re sweats or pipe ceremonies or other spiritual ceremonies they are connected to spirit, and communicating to the Creator and our Ancestors. I don’t think its too strange that they actually speak back us. “ Leonard says.
Leonard shares some insights into his abilities and why he wanted to create this show with host Rick Harp.
