Judge grants temporary injunction against Alton Gas protester

A Nova Scotia judge has ordered an Indigenous man off Alton Gas property following a court appearance Monday.

Dale Poulette was ordered to vacate a camp he was occupying near the Sipekne’katik River, which the company said was preventing its workers from accessing the site.

Poulette claims the project on unceded Mi’kma’ki territory does not have consent.
