Trudeau apologizes to Inuit for TB mistreatment

It was a long-awaited event delayed at the last minute by Nunavut’s unpredictable weather.

But Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made it to Iqaluit Friday to apologize for the way the federal government treated Inuit tuberculosis patients from the 1940s to 1960s.

He didn’t just say ‘sorry.’ He said ‘sorry’ with a plan attached.
