Employment program for homeless in Yellowknife showing signs of success

An employment program for homeless people in Yellowknife is proving to be successful this winter season.

The Common Ground program has been running since May 2018 by Yellowknife’s Women’s Society.

The work pays $13 an hour to shovel sidewalks and pick up garbage among other things.
