New beginning for Churchill as new rail system hits the tracks

 

It’s been nearly a year and half since severe flooding washed out part of the railway to the town of Churchill in northern Manitoba.

Since then, residents have been cut off from the southern part of the province on land.

For the first time this week, the community saw a train roll through it.

And now it’s a new beginning for the town.
