APTN News
Cannabis has become a lucrative business for some Ontario First Nations – even ahead of it being legal on Oct. 17.

And these business owners say they plan to keep it that way.

When it coms to the new marijuana regulations, members of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Community say the province has no jurisdiction.

Someone has to step in we don’t need 54 shops on this reserve and the media needs to start speaking to the other residents of the reserve to get a better understanding of this “community” issue not just the shop owners because yes there are still people on this reserve that want something to be done about these stores and no one is asking them anything .

Right to provide medicine from plants according to tradition.
I am as indigenous as any other human on the planet.
Government can stay out of my bedroom and medicine chest except when they want to help fill it.
