Five years after devastating Alberta flood, First Nation still waits for home repairs

Five years ago, a major flood forced the Siksika Nation, east of Calgary, to declare a state of emergency.

The flood of 2013 destroyed about 200 homes and forced 1,000 people to evacuate. Hundreds of people were forced to live in temporary homes.

Five years later – not much has changed.
