Members of the Big Island Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan say that gang activity in the community is growing.
Some members have taken matters into their own hands and tried to get gang members to leave the community.
But according to a few people, the problem isn’t getting any better.

This all boils down to a traumatizing event that left these “gang members” with no self worth.
I understand what Miss Sandfly is saying.I live on Makwa Sahgiachian reserve and we have the same big problem. Even with the eviction they just keep coming back..and to get these young children into drugs, stealing and doing break and enters.sure there are gangs in cities , towns amd villages.in the last 4 years I’ve seen a change on our reserve and it hasn’t been any better..
