Calgary Flames defenceman Travis Harmonic is bringing down a family from Nunavut to take in a hockey game. Harmonic is Metis from Manitoba.

A Metis defenceman from the Calgary Flames says he was inspired by Gord Downie, the late singer of the Tragically Hip and wanted families from the north to experience a professional hockey game.

Travis Hamonic started the Northern Program and reached out to a family in Nunavut.
