Standing Rock spirit alive and well on Cheyenne Territory

There has been speculation of many new Standing Rock protests popping up and around the globe.

In 2016, thousands of people from across North America set up camp in North Dakota to support the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in the U.S. in its fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The entire world watched as supporters who called themselves Water Protectors, clashed with local and state police – and troops from the Army National Guard.

Now there is a new camp set up in the Cheyenne River Sioux Territory.

APTN’s Dennis Ward is there talking with some of the big players in the movement who say while there will never be another Standing Rock, the movement is alive and well.
