The leader of Inuit in Quebec took the stand Tuesday at the province’s inquiry into the relationship between Indigenous peoples and some of the province’s public services.

The testimony comes as a community in Nunavik is still dealing with the aftermath of a stabbing spree that left four people dead including the suspect.

Jobie Tukkiapik said he wants services that cater to Inuit needs.
