On Friday, the chief commissioner for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls said that communications between the inquiry and families had to be better.
This, after a number of families, criticized the inquiry for being secretive and disorganized.
Buller explained to APTN what will change.
This inquiry is an impossible exercise! It needs to be restricted to immediate family members of the victims; as a Phase 1 step; not all these cousin types and organizations and other political leaders. Then Phase 2; would be these latter types to blow smoke and steam off! Phase 3; conclusions based on Phase 1; and recommendations based on Phase 1 and relevant info if any from Phase 2.
