Money for mental wellness ‘a good start’ says northern Saskatchewan chiefs

After a recent rash of suicides by young teenagers in northern Saskatchewan, Health Canada is putting $1.2 million to build up and expand mental health services in two First Nation communities.

The announcement was made Wednesday in La Ronge.

And some northern chiefs say it’s a good start.
