After hearing that one of his lawyers wrote in a court brief that Mi’kmaq in Nova Scotia are a ‘conquered people,’ Premier Stephen McNeil is working to repair relations with leaders from a number of communities.
On Thursday McNeil invited leaders to his office to apologize.
But some are asking what happens now to the lawyer who wrote put that in a court brief.
