Anticipation of Kinder Morgan pipeline decision brings thousands of people out to march in Vancouver

Next month the federal government will have to decide if the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline gets the go-ahead to expand or not.

At the moment, the pipeline that runs from Alberta to Vancouver, carries about 300,000 barrels of oil a day.

The proposal to expand the pipeline sparked a number of protests in British Columbia.

And in Vancouver, thousands of people marched through the city’s downtown to continue to voice their opposition to the project.
