The inquest into the death of a northern Manitoba man has been delayed once again.

Eight years ago, Craig McDougall was shot and killed by Winnipeg police during a confrontation.

Officers involved in the shooting have never had to account for it.

The three-week inquest was supposed to start Monday.

But new evidence will delay the hearings indefinitely.
