Indigenous women’s advocates in B.C. fear repeat of Pickton inquiry after details of national MMIW inquiry leaked

Many already see problems shaping up for the national inquiry into MMIW before it even launches

A coalition of women’s groups is speaking out after the terms of reference were leaked for the upcoming national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women.

They say there are already similarities forming to the inquiry that was held in B.C. five years ago.

And they say that inquiry was full of problems from the start.
