Ontario government to fund new study of Grassy Narrows’ water

During the 1960s, a chemical plant in Dryden dumped over nine tons of mercury into the area’s water system.

People in the community of Grassy Narrows have been living with mercury poisoning ever since.

Now, ministers from the Ontario government have announced a plan that aims to eventually help clean the community’s water supply.
