Tempers flared as protesters confronted Mi’kmaq hunters Wednesday.

The Mi’kmaq are part of a project by Parks Canada to manage the moose in a small part of a park.

The group said the protest was about the moose.

But the Mi’kmaw felt there were racist undertones.

    i think were gonna hafta send the warrior’s in to stand up against the protesters and to show support for our mikmaq hunter’s …we hafta draw the line somewhere against everyone for our rights
