The fight against billion-dollar condo development on shores of Ottawa River

APTN National News
A billion-dollar development project on the shores of the Ottawa River could be an opportunity for local Algonquin groups.

I am not surprise about the news of the Ottawa River proposed development. Pikawakagan first nation, Govt. and the zibi first nation are the only ones of the Algonquin Nation that stand to profit from the condo project. There is no transparency or consultation with the other thousands of Algonquins who hold rights and title to this traditional territory. This is very disturbing, but if our Govt. wants land they w ill take it by any method. Thanks to Dougals Cardinal for fighting for the whole Algonquin population. This is a shameful act, to be sold down the river by those people..
