Cuts, reclassification threatens QNWA’s existence

After 40 years of serving Aboriginal women in the province, the Quebec Native Women’s Association’s future is in jeopardy.

The association discovered that they are not recognized by the federal government as an Aboriginal representative organization.

Cuts to core funding and new rules for project dollars have left them with few resources.
