Yes and we still have the issues of people who threaten to kill us..these people should be charged for these threatening comments as well.
This is a frivolous and vexatious lawsuit. The teacher in question was viewed well by all his students and he never expressed his views to his students.His views were expressed in what he perceived to be a conversation with his friends. He expressed his views about a public figure, just as other politicians are public figures and face public criticism.He faces disciplinary action by his employer and professional body. Is that not sufficient? Who will cover the costs of the lawsuit for the chief? Why do I suspect it won’t be the chief’s personal funds.
