Saskatoon police chief talks about why a national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women may be step in the wrong direction

The Canadian association of chiefs of police says a national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women may hinder real efforts to combat the problem.

Calls for a national inquiry is gaining strength since 15 year old Tina Fontaine was found murdered in the Red river in Winnipeg this past August.

APTN’s Larissa Burnouf sits down with Saskatoon Police chief Clive Weighill to find out why the police are taking this stance.
