Group demands immediate action to clean up Mount Polley

A press conference was held in Vancouver Monday with a grassroots movement that set up a camp at the entrance of the Mount Polley mine.

It’s been just over a month since the mine’s tailings pond breached its wall and spilled millions of cubic metres of waste and sludge into local waterways.

The group is demanding immediate action to clean up the mess.
