Quebec’s election: The effects and consequences for First Nations

APTN National News
Quebec’s provincial election is set for April 7th.

And over the next several weeks, five parties will debate the issues facing la belle province.

The economy, health care and education are all on the agenda.

But overshadowing all these topics, hints from the Partie Quebecois that a referendum on Quebec sovereignty is on the horizon, if they form a majority government.

What could this mean for First Nations people in the province?

APTN’s Danielle Rochette reports.

This is wright. I am french independentist and I totally agree that the first nation people have to be in that discussion in order to have there opinion, view and rights to be determinate and intergrate in the sovereignty of the province. Because they are the first nation !
