Leslie Kennedy’s daughter, Candace Opikekew, was run over by a car outside of a liquor store last May in Lloydminister Alberta.

Opikekew later dies of injuries.

The man charged in the case is only facing a charge of mischief.

Kennedy feels the charge should be stronger.

APTN’s Larissa Burnouf reports.
