APTN crew banned from First Nation band office

APTN National News crew was banned and kicked off the cote First Nation in Southern Saskatchewan yesterday after arriving at the band office to speak with chief Norman Whitehawk who was not available for an interview.

An APTN National News crew was kicked off the Cote First Nation in southern Saskatchewan Tuesday.

They were trying to speak with Chief Norman Whitehawk who was not available for an interview and were told get off the First Nation.

  2. We need a National “Exposure” Program where Crooked Aboriginal Politicians and Service Providers can be exposed on TV. Lord knows we have enough examples to choose.from.

  3. this cheif and council with the exception 6 new counclliors who are in with the cheif so it stands at 11 with cheif whitehawk and 1 aganist gonna be a good 3 yrs for norman and his croonoies,,,,,the vault is open

  4. This isn’t the only corrupt government issue. Samson Cree Nation isn’t the same but that’s what it always boils down to. The ones in Charge take advantage of position and would rather help friends and family first than the community. It is like this in alot of reserves.
