Across the country most of the kids are already back in school, but for some youth from northern Manitoba the hope of being back in the classroom may be over before it’s even begun.

Across the country most of the kids are already back in school, but for some youth from northern Manitoba the hope of being back in the classroom may be over before it’s even begun.

It is partly the familiar story: A remote First Nation without enough federal funding to give its young people a decent education.

As APTN’s Ntawnis Piapot reports, these students find their schooling is in serious jeopardy just because of chaos at their local band office.
