Some are fearing total loss of their homes on the flood ravaged Siksika First Nation in Alberta.

Alberta’s premier visited the area 12 days after the flood hit.

    One again, the Government’s don’t seem to think our people are important, why did it take 12 days for her to visit this community when it is only an hour’s drive from Calgary? Reporters spent a lot of time on the flooding in High River and Calgary but very little news about flooding on surrounding First Nations’ Communities of Siksika or Stoney Nakota or T’suu Tina. These are people too and they need help just like the people in High River and Calgary.
