  1. I say stck to your guns. Don’t let that wealthy De Beers Corporation bully you. Let them take you to court. It might be a good idea to have an injunction against De Beers until the issue of your Treaty Rights are settled by the Court. It looks like they are trading trinkets for Beads.

    I have just heard that DeBeers are shutting down the ice road haul. This puts many Attawapiskat residents out of a job. This can not be good for many people.

  3. as for treaty rights, did Attawapiskat actually sign it? didn’t the government add attawapiskat decades later on adhesion? aren’t the government and Debeers illegaly collecting and taking the diamonds from our lands? and what about this lawyer? is she really doing her job? hasn’t she been working on the by-laws for far too long now without any progress?? Sticks to my crawl… :/
