Man accused of killing 16 year-old girl takes the stand

The man accused of murdering his 16 year-old cousin took the stand for the first time Tuesday in Miramichi, N.B.

Curtis Bonnell is accused of killing Hilary Bonnell in 2009.

Hilary’s mother was in the courtroom as she has been throughout the trial.

APTN National News reporter Tim Fontaine was there.
