Many survivors struggling with the idea of bringing up a painful past left the decision to file their claim to the last minute.

    I don’t support a deadline for filing a claim. When a 70 year old man can still break down in tears at the memory of being separated from his mother and community at the age of 7 you get just a small glimpse into the horror of recalling those memories.
