Sheguiandah protest targets chief

The band council office in Sheguiandah is surrounded.

People in the community aren’t happy with the way the chief is running things.

Early Tuesday morning a number of people carrying placards came out to get some answers.

The police followed shortly after.

Band councillor Kevin Mishibinijima was part of the protest. He joined APTN National News on the line from his home community.
